The Romeo & Juliet pet beds stem from two simple gestures envisioned by Margherita Bonacina. The first is a deep love for animals — a passion that anyone who knows Margherita, even just a little, recognizes as part of her everyday life. The second is an attentive eye for “what remains”: reed canes sourced from production offcuts, finding in this project a new and personal purpose.

From this combination come two essential objects — pet beds designed to inhabit the domestic space, becoming part of the home with the same natural ease as any Bonacina piece.The round Juliet pet bed is conceived as an embrace: a continuous, soft and sinuous shape, designed to comfort and protect. An object created first and foremost around a simple gesture — welcoming a new member of the family.
